Welcome

Prayer is talking to God as a friend.

It is part of a divine-human communication. It is not just giving orders or providing information.

Prayer is our response to God who has already spoken. He has revealed Himself in Jesus, the living Word, the Bible.

In prayer we:

• Respond with thanksgiving for the love of Jesus, the splendor of His creation and the hope of His return.

• Express our petitions for His kingdom to come when facing sin and selfishness and all it consequences, feeling that God is far away.

• Ask Him to intervene, for friends in need, for enemies lost in sin, for a world suffering.

When you need help, call on God through prayer. We offer two ways for you to get others involved in lifting your prayer requests and praises to the Lord.

Add Your Request to the Weekly Prayer List

Our   Prayer   Team   members   receive   the   church’s   prayer   list   each   week   and   will   pray   for   your   request.   You   can   add   your   request   to   this    list   in   one   of   three   ways:

• Contact us online with your request and contact information.

• Call in your requests to one of the following prayer lines: 020 8688 2241, 020 8656 0805, or 020 8681 3352.

• Use the detachable form in the Sabbath-morning worship folder. Simply write down your request and place the form in the offering plate when it passes by.

 

Post Your Requests to the Online Prayer Exchange

 

The Prayer Exchange allows anyone to post a prayer request or praise report. It also allows you to respond to someone else’s request by posting your prayers for that person. We review requests during normal business hours before posting them to the site.
