The Croydon SDA Public Affairs and Religious Liberty Department serves to promote freedom of religion through seminars,
conferences, articles and advocacy. It monitors current affairs and political developments to raise awareness of threats to religious liberty. It also makes representation on behalf of church members who are having problems with their religious observances at their place of work. In addition to its regular roles, this year the department will be providing legal information packs to members about their rights to evangelize and express their religious beliefs in the face of recent developments which have seen several people charged for expressing their religious beliefs.
