There’s much work for us to do as members of Croydon SDA Church. Many people have physical and spiritual needs that must be supplied. Let us make a difference one life at a time. Are you willing to do so? Don’t you want to hear the voice of God saying, “Well done, good and faithful servant”?
Volunteering with Croydon SDA is a great way to share the message of God’s love, make friends, pick up life skills, and feel part of an enthusiastic team. For the Haiti appeal the Croydon ADRA team helped raise ££9,168.49. But it’s not just worthwhile – volunteering can also be fantastic fun and hugely rewarding.
The benefits of volunteering and what our current volunteers say.
Croydon SDA is one of the largest Seventh-day Adventist churches in the UK. With the exception of our Pastor, all of the people who work for Croydon SDA are volunteers, and we wouldn’t be here for our community without them. They take on a range of essential roles from fundraising, IT, music, administration, teaching, counseling, providing care and support, community outreach, campaigning, publicity, etc.
Find our more about what our volunteers do in Our Ministries page.
Our guiding principles are to promote equality and value diversity. We know that it’s only by having diverse volunteers that we can do these things properly. We are committed to equality of opportunity in recruiting volunteers and training, and offer a warm welcome to every volunteer, whatever their background.
You first need to be a member of Croydon SDA. If you’re not yet a member find out here how you can be. Search to see what roles are available, choose one and fill out a quick online form. The ministry responsible for advertising the post will get in touch to discuss the options. With such a wide range of roles at Croydon SDA, there’s bound to be something suitable.
Search to see which roles you can volunteer for and sign up online.
