Growing with God

Have you responded to Jesus’ invitation to let Him into your heart and accept Him as God and the ruler of your life? What is baptism and why is it so important? Many people have questions that need to be answered before they take this important step of obedience. This 5 week course is designed to help you understand what is involved and prepare you for baptism.

We run a class every Sabbath at 10:00am specially designed for to those considering baptism. This class is open to both youth and adults. The classes will be led by Elder Patrick Bennej. Each week you will receive teaching in the basic truths about the Bible, including baptism and be given some homework to prepare. When you are ready to be baptised you’ll be able to choose a date from one of baptismal services which are held several times throughout the year. If you would like to attend this class no registration is required.

For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.” (Romans 15:4) As the Bible itself teaches us, there is hope in its pages, and people involved in Bible Study fellowship classes discover that hope on an ongoing basis. At Croydon SDA we host an hour long Bible study every Sabbath (Saturday) at 4:00pm during autumn/winter or 5:00pm during spring/summer. Classes are taught by Elder Neil Nunes and cover a wide range of topics.

This class is open to all youth and adults, regardless of whether you’re a member of Croydon SDA, and no registration is required.

In addition, we offer outstanding age-‐ appropriate classes for children. There is no cost involved in joining a class. Both the classes and the material are made available at no charge.
