“Seventh-day” refers to our keeping of the fourth of the Bible’s Ten Commandments, which can be found in Exodus chapter 20. In verses 8-11 God tells us to keep the seventh day of the week (Sabbath), holy as a special day to spend with God.
“Adventists” refers to our belief that Jesus Christ will soon return to this earth, and his instruction for us to let people know that he loves them, and wants to be part of their lives.
